DJFolami, a native of New York City, parleyed a love of music into learning the mechanisms of record labels (including a stint interning at the seminal house music label, King Street Records), opening nightclubs (such as the legendary Guernica in the East Village during the 'Golden Age Of Electronic Music', which also trail blazed the concept multi-levelled chic lounge), and talent buying (Christian Smith & Viktor, Christian Bruna & Beau, Greg Poole & Idris Elba, Junior Sanchez, Tim Sweeney, PJay, Sleepy, Lina, Merritt, Jackie Christie, QoolDJ Marv, Reborn, Citizen Kane, Rich Medina...). She also found a proclivity nurturing and curating parties (such as Christian Smith's Tronic Treatment, Camouflage 50/50, Ubiquita...). finally DJ'ing.
During her time in NYC, she also found a passion for (and still excels at) producing soundscapes for fashion shows and special events.
Relocating to Aspen, CO spawned a new world of music curation.
